Beachgate

Beachgate located at the far end of Firefly Island, close by Hove Beach is an exclusive luxury neighborhood consisting of homes owned by the very richest of residents. Fast expensive cars, swimming pools - residences with more than one bedroom and attached bathroom are common here. Vehicle entry is via a single privately guarded gate, although it is also possible to approach it from the beach or from the Alexander Boardwalk which runs adjacent to the seasonable fairground.

Revealed here is a house for sale, probably at a reasonably high price it might be noted for its rear yard backs onto the beach and has a wonderful view of southern Algonquin.

Darkly, perhaps it is a joke of the city planning council, perhaps not, but immediately to the north of Beachgate is located the tower blocks of Firefly Projects, huge structures which overlook the pleasant streets and avenues - taunting it may be argued, those forced to live in such restrictive apartments - they can see but not experience the American Dream.
